Brilliant Minds Collaborative is a startup business founded by 3 elementary school teachers. The brand is focused on encouraging students to use their critical thinking skills to build stronger, deeper connections with others.

Brand Design
Brilliant Minds Creative wanted a brand identity that felt youthful, bright, and playful, while still maintaining a sense of maturity appropriate for their target audience of students in grades 3 to 8.
The focus of the brand is to encourage deeper conversations, so we avoided cliché symbols like brains, lightbulbs, and speech bubbles.
We used a hand-drawn scribble from one of the founders to represent a busy brain and how conversations aren’t linear.
We paired two fonts together for the words ‘Brilliant Minds’ making the logo fun but minimal.
For the colour palette we decided on bright, non-primary colours to make the brand feel fresh without skewing too young.
